Gazzetta dello Sport says despite Mancini's backflip yesterday over his quit claims, the Inter coach will leave his job in June - even if the Scudetto is won.
The deciding factor for Inter president Massimo Moratti wasn't Mancini's sudden declarations at the end of the defeat to Liverpool, but murmurs from the players that he has lost the dressing room. Senior figures Patrick Vieira, Hernan Crespo and Luis Figo have all fallen out with Mancini, while in the coach's corner are Cristian Chivu and Dejan Stankovic.
Mourinho, meanwhile, wants the Inter job. While Barcelona and Real Madrid are keeping him waiting, if Moratti calls, the former Chelsea manager will snap his hand off to make the move to the San Siro.
