Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is a top target for Manchester City.
The Mail on Sunday says new City boss Roberto Mancini will be backed to the hilt in next month's transfer market.
He will be given money to spend this January to improve the squad, with Juventus defender Chiellini likely to be targeted in a bid to shore up the defence.
