Mancini sent Man City scout to check on Fiorentina’s Gamberini

Fiorentina midfielder Alessandro Gamberini is being tracked by Manchester City.

City boss Roberto Mancini had a close ally in the stands for Fiorentina's defeat at home to Roma on Sunday.

Bologna-born Gamberini is interesting Mancini, who is attracted to his versatility as the midfielder can also play at centre-half.
