Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini wasn't alone in his scouting trip to France yesterday.
Mancini saw Eden Hazard score in Lille's victory over Valenciennes, flanked by assistant David Platt and chief football administration officer Brian Marwood.
The trio were expected to open negotiations about a summer deal for Hazard, who has a £33million release clause in his contract.
Manchester United and Chelsea are interested as well and Alex Ferguson also watched Hazard last weekend.
