Roberto Mancini has put his hand up for Ciro Ferrara's job at Juventus.
Ferrara is under pressure after Juve's Champions League humiliation this week.
"Juventus want me? I'm ready," Mancini declared in Tuttosport. "Even when I was at Inter I made no secret of the fact that as a kid I supported the Bianconeri.
"I have never spoken badly of Juventus, the polemic was more to do with certain employees of the club.
"I say that with respect of Juventus and of the truth."
Mancini also has his own plans for Juve's squad.
"I know who to buy," added the former Italian international. "As for Diego and Melo, Diego is an above average player and greats such as [Michel] Platini and [Zinedine] Zidane had tough first months in Italy.
"Melo is a really good player. If he makes one too many mistakes then things don't go well, but he's a Brazilian international."
