Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini was happy with Edin Dzeko's first goal for the club in their 1-1 draw with FA Cup opponents Notts County. It was his new Bosnia striker who saved the day.

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini was happy with Edin Dzeko's first goal for the club in their 1-1 draw with FA Cup opponents Notts County.

It was his new Bosnia striker who saved the day.

The Blues boss admitted: "Dzeko needs more time to understand English football, but it is important that he scored his goal."

Mancini also praised Micah Richards, who was outstanding on his return to the first team.
