Mancini not pencilling in Man City win against Reading

Roberto Mancini has warned his Manchester City players against complacency for this weekend’s clash with Reading.

Roberto Mancini has warned his Manchester City players against complacency for this weekend’s clash with Reading.

The reigning champions host the bottom-of-the-table Royals on Saturday and despite the gaping difference in their table positions, Mancini is taking nothing for granted.

"We're playing against a team like Reading with only nine points and people say they will be relegated, but it will be a difficult game," Mancini said.

"I watched them against Everton - when they beat Everton - and against United when they lost 4-3.

"Up front they are very strong. Maybe they concede goals but we need to play like against Newcastle (3-1 win last week) if we want to win the game.”
