Mancini: No-one in Champions League want Man City to progress

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini feels the rest of the Champions League are backing Bayern Munich against them tonight.

The odds are stacked against the Premier League leaders but their boss reckons they could still have a big say in this competition - if they can get past this evening.

Asked if the survivors will want City out, Mancini said: "I think so and also Bayern think this.

"If we go through it will be a big problem for the other teams - but it's an 'if'.

"If Naples don't beat Villarreal and we win it will be an important moment for us. But the Champions League is difficult.

"Every team is worried about Manchester City because Manchester City could become one of the top clubs in the world in the future."
