Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini was delighted with Adriano's performance in yesterday's 2-0 victory over Catania.

"I had to leave Adriano out of the Champions League squad because we had problems with our defenders," said Mancini. "Over the match, he obviously lost his impact. But this is down to match-fitness.

"He wants to play here and in peak condition he will be good for us."
