Mancini full of praise for Inter Milan matchwinner Suazo

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini was grateful to David Suazo after his goal scoring performance in last night's victory over Atalanta.

Mancini said: "Suazo is settling in and improves with each passing week. He can do a great deal for Inter and is a good lad who deserves every success. Cruz doesn't even need words to describe him, he always does well."

Suazo scored one goal and set up the second for Julio Cruz in the 2-1 win over Atalanta, ensuring Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Hernan Crespo were not missed.

However, the Honduran was nearly taken out of the game by a horrific challenge from Manfredini that remarkably only warranted a booking from referee Luca Banti.

"Really, if that's not a red card offence, then I don't know what is. It's so obviously a dangerous tackle I don't even need to comment.

"It was not an easy game, as we had so many players injured and more who returned tired from international duty," explained the Coach.

"Some of the South Americans only returned last night, so we saw them for dinner and could not train at all. If we hadn't had the injuries, many of them probably wouldn't have been asked to go ahead tonight."
