As expected, Roberto Mancini has deployed a very strong Manchester City eleven for tonight's crucial Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
City must win and hope Villarreal avoid defeat against Napoli in order to progress from Group A and Mancini has made just two changes from the side that beat Norwich City 5-1 in the Premier League on the weekend to try and clinch the required result.
Micah Richards did not make the squad and has been replaced by Stefan Savic whilst Kolo Toure has dropped out for Joleon Lescott. Alongside the two inclusions are goalkeeper Joe Hart, captain Vincent Kompany, left-back Gael Clichy, midfielders Gareth Barry, Samir Nasri, Davis Silva and Yaya Toure and attackers Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko.
