Amantino Mancini is close to signing a new contract with Roma.

"I'm waiting on Roma to find an agreement and that is the priority," his agent, Gilmar Veloz, told Radio Radio. "I have already spoken to sporting director Daniele Prade and Mancini has been in touch with chief Rosella Sensi.

"Amantino has expressed the desire to stay and now we are waiting for a response. He is a world-class player who has proven in Italy that he could play in any country."
