Former Leicester City midfielder Roberto Mancini is still baffled by the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.
Mancini is currently appearing on Italy's version of Dancing With The Stars and was quickly linked with the vacancy at the King Power Stadium when Ranieri was sacked last week.
On Ranieri's departure, Mancini told Sky in Italy: "I was surprised because what he did was unthinkable, it won't happen again in the next 1000 years.
"Leicester had the quality to save it, but we have to understand what else has gone on there."
But Mancini said nothing had yet been decided about his future, despite links with some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
"Those questions were written so many months, but there is nothing for now," he added.
"There is nothing concrete, when an opportunity comes up I will evaluate it. I like to do new experiences - such as the one I had at Galatasaray."
