Mancini angry as Livorno hold Inter Milan

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini was left furious with his players after their 2-2 draw with struggling Livorno.

"In the first half we fell asleep on their goal, as a long ball cannot be allowed to go over the entire defence," he told Sky Italia.

"Then we created and missed many chances. After the break we were a bit chaotic and were even worse. There are things that are so obvious you don't even have to say them. This just isn't possible."

Following the 1-0 Champions League defeat at Fenerbahce, the pressure is growing on Mancio to get his squad back to speed.

"The only way for us to relax is to get all the clutter out of our minds. When we get everyone back in shape, we will find it is plain sailing. I think at the end of the day the draw was the right result today."

Douglas Maicon was sent off for a petty kick at Erjon Bogdani and he will be suspended for Wednesday's meeting with Sampdoria.

"Maicon made a mistake. He should not have done that, as with 11 men on the field we could have created more chances. Instead he put us under serious pressure and we risked losing the match. It was a very serious error."
