The Manchester United star has been experiencing problems this week with the knee that underwent major surgery in April 2007.
"I have no choice but to change things around because of Park's injury," coach Huh Jung-moo told reporters in Turkmenistan's capital Ashgabat, "but we don't have to miss him."
"There is some water on the knee," Park said. "There is no pain or discomfort and walking is fine. It is the first time to feel this way since the operation." Korea can clinch their place in the final round of Asian qualification with a win in Turkmenistan and Park is sure that the team can do so.
"Football is a team game with 11 players. We have more than enough talent in the team to do well," added the ex-PSV Eindhoven star.
