Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic is impressed by manager Sir Alex Ferguson's summer recruiting.
Certainly Ferguson is building a team capable of keeping United at the top.
With Paul Scholes, Edwin van der Sar and Gary Neville retired and Owen Hargreaves, John O'Shea and Wes Brown all departed, Ferguson has embarked on a near £60m spree for Young, Phil Jones and keeper David De Gea.
Vidic said: "I believe they are all good buys and now it's time for us all to work hard because we have a difficult schedule in the first few matches.
"We have no time to ease our way into the season. We have to hit the ground running. We have more big games in the first 10 matches than I have ever known.
"We play all our main rivals in the opening weeks and cannot afford to start slowly like last year, when Chelsea left us behind for a while.
"That can't happen this time and we know that."
