Manchester City are ready to turn up the pressure on AS Roma over their pursuit of Daniele de Rossi.
De Rossi already has a €9 million-a-year proposal on the table from City, which is more than double Roma's contract offer.
The midfielder is inside the final year of his existing deal and unhappy with the terms tabled by Roma.
