Manchester City have assured Canadian fans of a star-studded line-up for their friendly with the Vancouver Whitecaps. City coach Brian Kidd says Whitecaps fans can expect a hungry touring squad at Empire Field on Monday.
He told canada.com: "We'll be going with a strong team. We know the Whitecaps is going to be a tough game. If the boss [Roberto Mancini] does play one or two [younger players], he'll have all the well-known players.
Said Caps' coach Tommy Soehn: "They're fresh off an FA Cup win, and what a fantastic season they had."
