Managerial offers in short supply for ex-Chelsea boss Villas-Boas

According to his agent, former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is still waiting a firm offer of a job. According to reports, Liverpool are considering turning to the former Porto head coach over replacing sacked legend Kenny Dalglish after the Reds' worst league season for 18 years.

However, agent Carlos Goncalves has strongly denied the rumours linking his client to a number of clubs.

"Villas-Boas follows football, but there have not been any official offers for him yet," Goncalves told the website Calciomercatoweb.

"If an interesting project comes about then we will certainly take it into consideration."
