"I'm starting to get more worried each time I fly," he said. "My wife isn't very good on planes and the more travelling I do with her the more she makes me nervous."
He is in awe of United legend Bobby Charlton, who survived the 1958 Munich air disaster. The former Spartak Moscow player told his club's Inside United magazine he thought Sir Bobby was "amazing."
He said: "He was involved in a terrible air crash yet he still flies. He is a very, very courageous man. I cannot imagine doing that, definitely not."
