Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has no regrets over retiring from the Holland setup.

"Normally you go from game to game and suddenly I have had two weeks without one, so I have been twiddling my thumbs a little bit," said Van der Sar.

"It was a little bit strange to see Holland playing and not be involved.

"I know the whole routine. What time to get up, what time to go on the bus, what time to warm up.

"But I don't have any regrets. I did my thing for 14 years and I am quite happy to focus on United."
