Manchester United are making fullback Danny Simpson available on-loan for next season.

Simpson is set to go out on loan next season - with Sunderland, Birmingham and Wigan all wanting to take the highly-rated Manchester United defender.

Sir Alex Ferguson may allow Simpson to get more valuable first-team experience on loan - but both the United chief and the 21-year-old want the Premier League stage.

Tough-tackling Simpson is on loan at Ipswich but is due back at Old Trafford next week for more talks on his immediate future.
