Man Utd's Silvestre enjoying late chance of glory

Mikael Silvestre is relishing the chance of late season glory with Manchester United.

After ending last season on the sidelines with a dislocated shoulder and spending most of this campaign recovering from a cruciate ligament injury, Silvestre is happy to be involved in the push for a Premier and Champions League double.

"I've worked so hard to get back after all the injuries," he said. "I wanted to be part of this team because I knew we would do well this season so I did everything I could.

"Now I'm really pleased to have got back and given something to the team. This is a really big bonus and I am happy to enjoy every moment I can with these players.

"Now we have a great opportunity to do a double so we have to keep cool and make sure we win the three games we have left.

"Winning the semi-final is a huge boost because it is much easier to recover after winning a big game than losing it. Even though we lost at Chelsea, we still have a great chance to win the title against West Ham and Wigan."
