Wayne Rooney is set to make Manchester United's trip to Germany for their Champions League clash at Bayern Munich.
Rooney spent the weekend in Manchester doing work in the swimming pool in a bid to be fit for Wednesday's clash in the Allianz Arena.
United manager David Moyes said: "We have worked him hard on the bike and in the swimming pool, Friday and today (Saturday) and we will give him every opportunity to be fit."
