Wayne Rooney has admitted lifting the Champions League with Manchester United would not make up for missing out on Euro 2008 with England.
He told The Mirror,"Even if we won the Champions League, it would still be disappointing watching the European Championship on TV. That still burns inside. Just to get to the Euros would have been great."
