Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney wants the Premiership clubs to be kept apart in today's Champions League quarterfinals draw.

"It's better for English football if the four teams go farther," the United forward said. "This proves the Premier League is the best in the world and that's why it attracts the best players in the world."
