Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney is desperate for England to qualify for next summer's European Championship.
"It would be a nightmare if we didn't qualify, a disaster," Rooney told the Mirror. "I wouldn't know what to do with myself if that happened. I had six weeks off this summer and that was too long. I don't want that to happen again.
"Hopefully Israel can get a good result against Russia for us, then of course we'd have to beat Croatia at home.
"If Russia do beat Israel, we know they'll beat Andorra and we'll be out. If that happens, our game against Croatia would be horrible because we'd know we were out."
Looking back at England's campaign, Rooney added: "We should have beaten Macedonia at Old Trafford, instead of drawing 0-0. That was the one game we'll look back on and regret."
