Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney wants to put on a show for England tonight to help celebrate David Beckham's 100th cap.

Ahead of the clash in France, Rooney said: "David has been a great servant and captain for his country.

"I'm delighted he will have the chance to make 100 caps, he deserves it. And if he plays he will be there on merit - just as he would want it to be."
