Cristiano Ronaldo has delayed his return to Manchester.

The Daily Mail says Ronaldo's future remains in the balance after Manchester United's Portuguese winger went on holiday yesterday.

Ronaldo had intended to return to Manchester for a minor operation but will now wait until his return from his break before a decision on surgery is taken.

Talks on his possible move to Real Madrid would have had to wait until next week anyway as United chief executive David Gill is on holiday until then.
