Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo had an angry exchange with taunting Aston Villa fans during Saturday night's 0-0 draw at Villa Park.

The Sunday Mirror says Ronaldo was the target for terrace abuse as he limped off.

And the taunts provoked an angry response from the Manchester United star.

There was no suggestion of an obscene gesture but Ronaldo clearly wanted the jeering Villa fans to know he's the world's No.1 player.
