Manchester United's move for Wigan Athletic midfielder Wilson Palacios is sure to anger Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Wenger tipped off Wigan boss Steve Bruce about Palacios last year when he was still in charge of Birmingham City after having given the Honduras international trials at Emirates stadium.

If United land Palacios in the summer it will be the latest of a string of ex-Gunners trialists to win moves to big clubs, including Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure and Olympiacos' Marco Ne.
