Lee Martin admits he held crunch talks with Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of signing on-loan with Plymouth Argyle.

Martin was shipped out by Ferguson after he flopped in the United side upset by Coventry in the Carling Cup.

"He sat me down and said there are a few things I need to work on, which I agree with," said Martin.
