Man Utd's Lindegaard: Rotating keepers is way of future

Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has no problem rotating with David de Gea.

Lindegaard, whilst keen to figure as often as possible, can see another reason to keep switching this around.

"Football is a dynamic process," he told MUTV. "People have been used to teams having a goalkeeper who plays in every game.

"But I don't think that is possible in modern football any more.

"You have 50 or 60 games a season. That is a big workload physically but it is also very stressful mentally.

"At big clubs, you will have two very good goalkeepers sharing it.

"There will always be some kind of difference but in the future you will see this kind of situation more often."
