Man Utd's Heaton aiming to upset Arsenal with Cardiff tonight

Manchester United goalkeeper Tom Heaton will start for Cardiff City in tonight's FA Cup tie against Arsenal.

He was Cardiff's No 1 in the Coca-Cola Championship until he picked up an injury against Plymouth Argyle in late November and lost his place. Cardiff have not been beaten in 13 matches since, but Heaton will return this evening because Peter Enckelman is injured and Dimi Konstantopoulos, just signed on loan from Coventry City, is cup-tied.

"I've been dying to bang on the manager's door, but it's not been possible," Heaton said. "We've been excellent over the last 15 games or so. It's looking good for the future and we'll be very disappointed if we do not go up.

"Edwin has been fantastic. We get on very well. I can't thank him enough for passing on his experience. I've taken a lot from how he plays the game, how calm and in control he stays. Peter Schmeichel is a favourite of mine and he was completely different. I try to take the best of both."
