Manchester United hero Ryan Giggs has warned new teammate Dimitar Berbatov he can't expect the star status he enjoyed at Tottenham.
"Berbatov was No.1 at Spurs, but here he's just one of many brilliant players," Giggs told Mirror. "It's a great signing. Yes, we won the two biggest trophies last season, but the boss always looks to improve.
"The club needs to be kept on its toes, with no player guaranteed a start. Nobody knows the best XI, but we all want to be in it.
"Huge signings lift the fans too. It sounds silly, but our fans do need a lift.
"We're just glad he's with us. He desperately wanted to join United and that's enough for us."
