Man Utd's Giggs hopes Porto over-confident

Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs is banking on over-confidence from Champions League rivals Porto to help them clinch a historic victory in Portugal.

He told the People: ''If Porto think the tie is now all theirs then that could play into our hands.

"If we win 1-0 we're through so it's not a disastrous position to be in. The experienced lads like myself, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville have been here before.

"And I remember people writing us off after we drew 1-1 with Juventus at home in 1999 and we went over to Italy and won when no-one gave us a prayer.

"I don't think we need to go there and go on an all-out attack and we will tell the younger lads that. It will be interesting to see how Porto approach it.

"They're favourites now, so we will see how they handle the pressure of that."
