Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs hopes the management of Sir Alex Ferguson will prolong his career.
"Even though you want to play in every game, you've got to be sensible. The manager's looking at the bigger picture and we have got a lot of players to choose from."
Giggs revealed that "sometimes when the manager doesn't want you to play, he might give you a couple of days off and tell you not to even train but just spend a couple of days in the gym".
Still sprightly after United appearance No 751, he added: "I hope what he [Ferguson] does will help prolong my career."
