Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs says they want victory at Besiktas to set themselves up for the derby against Manchester City.
"What you want to do is go into these games with confidence," said the 35-year-old.
"We will go into tomorrow confident and hopefully get a good win. It's always tough here because of the fans and the travelling.
"Hopefully we'll go into the derby with a win under our belt. It's always a tough test. It was a long flight and you don't really know a lot about their side.
"But we'll do our homework now we are here and I'm sure the manager will chop and change and fresh players will come in. Hopefully we'll do the job in Turkey.
"It's well-documented that we've lost Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez but we have great players here and it gives you confidence when you go to a place like Spurs on Saturday and get a result."
