Man Utd's Giggs backs Ince for Blackburn success

Ryan Giggs believes former Manchester United teammate Paul Ince will bring success to Blackburn Rovers.

"I am sure Paul will do well because he knows his stuff," Giggs told Inside United.

"He has done things a different way to my other team-mates. He started right at the bottom and did brilliantly at Macclesfield and MK Dons.

"Some people would say that is the proper way of doing things. He has proven himself, now he just has to do it in the Premier League."

Unlike Blackburn predecessor - and another former Giggs team-mate - Mark Hughes, Ince was always a likely managerial candidate.

"He was always a leader on the pitch," said Giggs.

"He will get a lot of respect because he has done it all as a player.

"But that only gets you so far because you have got to know your stuff.

"If he has the same enthusiasm he had during his playing days I am sure he will do really well."
