Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is delighted with the preseason form of Irish midfielder Darron Gibson.

Gibson scored a superb goal in last night's victory over Peterborough and Ferguson told MUTV: "We've been saying to him all summer, with the power he's got, he should be striking more," said Sir Alex. "The evidence is there for you now. He has fantastic feet."
