Man Utd's Fletcher remains determined to reach international tournament

Manchester United's Scotland midfielder Darren Fletcher faces another summer missing a major tournament after their World Cup failure last night.

But he has no fears that he'll suffer the same fate as Old Trafford legends George Best and Ryan Giggs, who NEVER graced the game's biggest stage.

Fletch, still just 25, said: "I feel as if I have a few campaigns left and I'm desperate to get there with Scotland.

"I am not thinking about anything other than learning from these setbacks and getting to a major finals.

"Even though the performances have been good in the last two games, the luck has still deserted us."
