Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand underwent a two-hour fitness in Barcelona to see if he is fit to face Croatia.
England ace Ferdinand missed Saturday's 2-0 win over Andorra with a neck and back injury.
After missing training on Sunday there were serious worries he would miss tomorrow's crunch qualifier.
But with temperatures nudging 90 degrees the 29-year-old came through both an individual and team session.
He appears to have more chance of playing than David Beckham who was a peripheral figure in training.
