Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand believes fans sometimes miss the quality of teammate Wayne Rooney.
You just need to look at him running into the left-back position and making tackles. His whole game is about being a team player.
"Because of that, sometimes you don't see the frills and showboating you see from other players, but you get an end product from Wayne.
"He does the running and work of two players. You could say that about Carlos Tevez as well.
"Maybe Wayne needs to be more selfish but sometimes he was playing left or right wing and it's difficult for him to make an impact in games.
"But I'm confident if he is playing up front for 30 games in a season he'll score you 20 goals - I wouldn't bet against him doing that."
