Man Utd's Eikrem: Solskjaer an inspiration

Manchester United's Norwegian youngster Magnus Eikrem admits his reserves coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is an inspiration.

In his blog for manutd.com, Eikrem wrote: "He's inspired me a lot. He was a young player from a small town in Norway, like myself, and suddenly he's playing in the Premier League and scoring all those goals for United. As a young Norwegian that gave me hope that I could make it. Then I was lucky enough to go to Ole's Academy in Norway, which is where I was spotted for United. I was so nervous when I first met him, but he's great with you.

"When I first came to United I met Ole almost every day and he gave me plenty of advice. As a coach, he's not been too hard on us just yet, but I'm sure he will be! He's got a bit of Sir Alex about him! All the players have great respect for him and we know he'll do what's best for us. That's why I'm sure he'll be as good a coach as he was a player."
