Man Utd's Corry Evans: Jonny happy he stayed

Manchester United midfielder Corry Evans says brother Jonny is pleased he chose to stay with the club last season.

Corry told the Independent: "Jonny I'm sure is glad he made that decision now, it was tough for him last summer because he wanted to play first team football.

"United have two outstanding centre halfs and he wanted to play every week in the Premier League.

"However he showed last year that he can make the grade at Untied and had a really good season.

"There are some outstanding role models at Old Trafford, like Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.

"They have been there and done it at the very highest level and they always pass on their experience."
