Man Utd's Carrick ignore England recall rumours

Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick says he's ignoring talk of an England recall.

Despite revelling in his position as a senior figure at Old Trafford, the 30-year-old hasn't played for his country since the friendly against Mexico before the last World Cup.

"To be honest, it's not something I’ve thought about," Carrick told manutd.com. "I'm just concentrating on playing here and playing well. Whatever happens, happens. I haven’t been involved in the last few squads so I’m just concentrating on doing well here."
