Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has admitted his admiration for Sunday's opponents Liverpool.
Carrick, 26, said: "As players, Liverpool is always a special game for us - especially at Anfield.
"It just seems to get bigger and bigger every time.
"There is so much history between the two clubs. It is not only down to being neighbours geographically - but the success both clubs have had down the years and the success they still want."
Old Trafford manager Alex Ferguson feels the clashes between the Big Four could well decide the destiny of this year's title.
And Carrick added: "With Chelsea and Arsenal playing each other as well, Sunday is going to be a huge day. Taking points off your rivals is going to be key, particularly away from home."
