Man Utd's Campbell: Tottenham quality will soon shine

On-loan Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell is convinced Tottenham have enough quality to haul themselves off the foot of the Premiership table.

Campbell, whose 15 goals in 34 matches on loan at Hull last season helped the Tigers gain promotion, is convinced Tottenham are in a false position and their quality will turn things around "very soon".

He said: "When you look at the squad on paper it's very strong and we should be doing better. We're just not quite finding our form at the moment, but every team has a dip over the course of a season, hopefully this will be our only one of the campaign.

"This could have happened to us at the beginning, middle or end of the season but because it's come at the start it's been highlighted that much more since people see us at the foot of the table. I'm sure we'll turn things around very soon."

Campbell added: "I've settled in quickly here. I'm getting to know the lads and they're getting to know me. I'm enjoying myself.

"Obviously results could be better but that will come. I'm just waiting for a chance to show what I can do and make the most of any opportunities that come my way.

"The fans have been good to me so far, I try to add a spark when I play and I think they like that."
