Man Utd's Campbell delighted with role in Spurs Cup win

On-loan Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell was delighted with his contribution in Friday's FA Cup victory over Wigan.

The striker came off the bench to win the penalty which set the ball rolling in our 3-1 FA Cup victory at The Lane.

Now the England Under-21 international is hoping we can keep this form going with a Carling Cup semi-final first leg against Burnley next up on Tuesday.

"We hadn't been creating as many opportunities in previous games, but we scored the three this time and it could have been more," Campbell told Tottenham's website.

"The main aim was to get back to winning ways and now the challenge is to take that mentality into the upcoming games.

"We're going well in all the cup competitions at the minute but we've just got to keep pushing on now.

"It's great to be in a cup semi-final on Tuesday now against a hard-working Burnley team, but we're confident going into it."

It was Fraizer's strike-partner Roman Pavlyuchenko who stole the headlines on Friday with his brace.

"Myself and Roman did well up front together, but I think it was a good team performance as a whole on the night and a good victory."
