Manchester United will boast football's biggest sponsorship when Aon come on board for the 2010/11 season.
The Sun says United have clinched football's biggest shirt sponsor deal - £80million - with Aon Corporation.
United have signed a four-year contract with US insurance giant Aon from the start of the 2010-11 season.
They take over from stricken AIG, who will continue for a year despite needing a £120billion bail-out from the US government to keep them afloat.
The final £14m payment owed to United was in doubt but will now effectively come from American taxpayers.
United were forced to continue with their logo as kit-maker Nike had already produced next season's strip - to be unveiled on next month's Far East tour.
But this new agreement is worth £6m a year more and eclipses the £17m a year which German giants Bayern Munich get from Deutsche Bank.
